Italian Ganna revalidates his time trial world champion title

The Italian Filippo ganna has revalidated its title of individual time trial world champion in the Road Cycling World Championship, which is being held in the Flanders region (Belgium), while the Spanish Carlos Rodríguez finished in twenty-fifth position.

The transalpine spent a time of 47:47 to complete the 43.3 kilometers of the planned route between Knokke-Heist and Bruges, six seconds better than Belgian Wout Van Aert; his arreón in the final stage after marching even with Van Aert in all sectors gave him the victory.

Meanwhile, the also Belgian Remco Evenepoel climbed into the third drawer44 seconds behind the winner, and Danish Kasper Asgreen was just three seconds away from stepping on the podium.

For his part, the winner of the Tour de France, the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar, finished tenth at 1:53, and Spaniard Carlos Rodríguez finished twenty-fifth at 3:24 behind Ganna.
