Thesolid state hard drivesthey are a new storage typology in which there are no mechanical parts. Unlike traditional hard drives, which include rotating and other moving parts,on a SSD hard drive there are only memory chips that store the information.
With the passage of time its price has been reduced considerably, but stillthey are still more expensive than traditional HDDs, especially when it comes to discs with large storage capacity.
For the moment, only the smallest ones – up to 480 Gb – can compete on price. But what you really have to ask yourself is whether it is worth changing the hard drive of the computer for an SSD given its higher price.
The technology expert David Arráez – @AmerArraez on social networks – clarifies in this video if it is worthwhile – or not – to change the hard drive of the computer to an SSD.
