The National Institute of Radio and Television of Peru (IRTP) and the Spanish Radio and Television Corporation (RTVE) will sign on Monday a cooperation agreement with a view to "the creation of original contents for the celebration of the bicentennial of the independence of Peru" .

The IRTP executive president, Hugo Coya, told Efe Agency today that the signing of the agreement will be made in the presence of King Felipe VI, who will arrive in Peru on Sunday, and Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra.

The IRTP president indicated that the negotiation between both countries took more than two years and is a key piece of the Peruvian state channel to implement greater contents in their different native languages.

"The idea is that the agreement be in relation to the exchange of material that we make, in such a way that we can negotiate audiovisual and radio content, and thus bring both countries closer," he added.
