Indra rules out the sale of its mortgage management business

Indra has stated this Tuesday that it is not selling its mortgage management business, which it develops through its subsidiary Indra BPO. Company sources explained to Europa Press that "this is a process that has been under study, but has been ruled out."

The newspaper Public 'expansion' that Indra hired Arcano's services to explore strategic alternatives with respect to Indra BPO, a subsidiary that specializes in managing all mortgage processes.

Indra BPO had a total turnover of 20 million euros in 2020, while its adjusted gross operating profit (Ebitda) reached 3.9 million euros, according to the newspaper.

In the first quarter of 2021, the company was able to increase its sales by 50% compared to the same quarter of the previous year, to 6.8 million euros, given the recovery of the market after the outbreak of Covid. These data make Indra BPO the fourth largest company in this sector in Spain, with a market share of 7.6%.
