India extends its confinement for two more weeks

The Government of India on Friday ordered the extension of the confinement of its 1.3 billion inhabitants until May 18 to curb the coronavirus, while the country reaches 35,043 positive cases of COVID-19, and 1,147 deaths.

The order issued by the Ministry of the Interior also indicates new guidelines to regulate the different activities in this period, based on the levels of risk of spread of the states of the country, which will be distinguished as red zones (critical zones), green and orange.
