The Artika editorial publish The women of Botero, a book with 45 drawings of the Colombian painter that pays tribute to his feminine universe, the most representative of his art. "I'm not a painter of fat women, I'm a volume painter," the artist said in the video presentation of the work.

The women of Botero is a limited and numbered edition that is divided into two books: on the one hand one with 45 plates that include 30 years of work of the author and on the other a study book that analyzes the artistic life of Botero.


The case of this book has been created specifically to house this work, with a detail of 'Head', painted by Botero in 2006






In total there are 2,998 copies, of which 2,798 are in Arabic edition and 200 in Roman edition with the signature of the artist. The sale price is 4,500 euros for copies without signature and 6,500 euros for copies with signature – between 5,500 and 7,900 dollars in the American edition -.

The case of this book has been created specifically to house this work, with a detail of 'Head', painted by Botero in 2006. The drawings have been printed in four inks in individual sheets and glued to the book by three points of tail and the work has an introduction to the Nobel Prize for Literature.
