Illa (PSC) believes that Torra "does not have his feet on the ground" and makes it difficult for them to support the Catalan accounts

In a statement, he said that Torra "is once again the president of only half of the Catalans" and does not allow progress towards an agreed solution when returning to unilateral positions, in his opinion.

In this regard, he reiterated the will of the Socialists to discuss the budget of the Generalitat, but said that it will be difficult if the horizon is the one that marks the speech of Torra: "They can not count on us."

On the General Budgets of the State (PGE), Illa has asked the pro-independence parties to support them and has warned them that, if they do not, "they will have to explain" the reason why they do not support measures that they consider positive for the Catalans

These general budgets "provide much needed resources for Catalonia and propose measures that end with seven years of austerity policies," Illa said.
