Judge García Castellón's decision to exonerate the president of Iberdrola is excellent news. It is so for Ignacio Sánchez Galán himself, who is getting rid of a weight that has oppressed him in recent times, and it is also so for the company itself and for its suppliers, who see the future as clear and free from many uncertainties. As the affected person himself frequently recalled, the accusation, and its exaggerated duration, has had real negative effects and not only for him. Iberdrola's reputation has been under suspicion, real business opportunities have been lost, at least in the United States, and its own stock price has been weighed down. Too much cost, for this ending.
That is what is not well understood.
