Iberian ham asks to be excluded from the nutritional traffic light after the oil 'pardon'

Iberian ham, shoulder and pork loin do not score well in Nutriscore, the nutritional traffic light that the Government intends to implement in the coming months. Its rating ranges, depending on the specific product, between the lowest letters: D (orange) and E (red). Alerted by the impact it can have on consumers, Iberian pork producers have already prepared their own scientific studies —with very favorable results— for the administration to review their note. The news that Consumption will exclude olive oil from the system leads them to request the same treatment.
