The airline Iberia will increase by 40% its offer from Colombia to Spain with three additional flights per week that will depart from Bogota and in order to consolidate "the Colombian market as one of its major bets in Latin America," the company reported today.
With the three additional flights, which will begin operations on July 1, the company will have 110,000 additional seats available, Iberia said in a statement.
The planes that will cover the three routes are Airbus A340-600 and will fly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, adding to the daily flight that the airline currently has.
Similarly, Iberia will modify the days of operation and flight schedules for the summer season, on March 31, 2019, on the Medellín-Madrid route "to improve connections with its more than 100 destinations in Europe, Asia , The Middle East and Africa. "
On the route between Medellín and Madrid, Iberia offers 90,000 seats, with which the company reaches an offer of more than 460,000 seats between Colombia and Spain.
In the Andean country, the airline has connections from cities such as Armenia, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cali, Cartagena de Indias, Pereira and San Andrés, among others.
