How you can request and what to use the 400 euros of the cultural bonus for young people that will be available from July 25
Young people born in 2004 (those who turn 18 this year, around 500,000) will be able to request their 400-euro bonus to spend on culture from July 25 and only until October 15. This aid, of 210 million euros, created by the Ministry of Culture, has the dual function of encouraging both cultural consumption by people who still do not have purchasing power and supporting cultural industries.

What can I spend the 400 euros on?
The money is divided into three different 'pockets':
200 euros for live arts, cultural heritage and audiovisual arts. Some examples: buying a ticket for a concert or festival, going to the cinema, attending a play or visiting the Prado Museum, a botanical garden or a zoo. 100 euros for cultural products on physical support. Some examples: get the album of that group that you like so much, get a video game (only if you buy the box and the album, it is not valid for digital sales services) or buy the Blu-ray of your favorite movie. 100 euros for online or digital consumption. Some examples: pay the Spotify account, create a Filmin account, subscribe to Pódimo or even become a member of elDiario.es.
Can I go spend it anywhere?
No. Only in affiliated companies.
What are the affiliated companies?
These are companies and cultural entities that have their tax address in Spain, so Amazon, for example, would be ruled out. Companies can join until September 30, 2023, so the list will grow. Do you have an entity that can join? This is the platform to do it.

What requirements do I need to apply for my Youth Cultural Voucher?
As it will be necessary to identify yourself, the most important thing is to get your Digital Certificate issued by the FNMT (request it here) or Cl@ve (request it here), if you don't already have it.
And how it works?
After requesting help on the official website and app, with the confirmation of acceptance you will be given access to a virtual prepaid card (identified with your name and a number) that will be managed with a mobile app, but will also be available in physical format if someone requires it.
How much time do I have to spend it?
12 months from when the bonus is granted. Just in case and not to lose money, put an alert. Remember that the deadline to apply for the Youth Cultural Bonus, if you were born in 2004, is from July 25 to October 15.
