How to report specific messages from a WhatsApp conversation

The messaging app WhatsApp has started testing a new feature that will allow its users report specific messages, instead of having to report the entire conversation as it happens now.

Currently, when a WhatsApp user wants report a chat, it must report the user or the entire conversation, and in that case the five most recent messages are sent as context so that the 'app' can make a decision.

With the new function of report messages, users can report a specific message that they consider inappropriate, and in that case the application can only access the specific reported message.

The new function has appeared this Monday in the beta application WhatsApp for mobile with system ios (as of version 2.21.190.12) and Android (since 2.21.20.1), as reported by the specialized portal WABetaInfo.

At the moment the novelty of WhatsApp is accessible to the beta testers of the app, but still it is not available to users of its stable version.
