prevent possible adverse effects of heat on healthdue to the increase in temperatures and the presence of haze on the islands.

Spanish Meteorological Agency (Aemet) of increased temperatures in some municipalities of the Canary Islands, it is advisable to take protective measures, especially in the most vulnerable groups:
elderly people, children, chronic patients, polymedicated or obese.
