Amazon's Prime Day will have a duration of 48 hours for the first time this year, since in other editions the campaign only lasted for one day. The e-commerce platform will launch Limited time offers during July 15 and 16. From Amazon they trust that the sales "are more successful than the previous year" when they beat record of subscriptions and products.
Until 23:59 on Tuesday there will be offers in categories such as televisions, smart home, kitchen, food, toys, fashion, furniture, accessories, daily consumer products and smart watches, among others, according to the company in a statement. One of the novelties of this year are the "flash offers", which include limited units of some of the products and that will be published during the next 48 hours.
Many offers will be limited, they may for what the organizers recommend to consumers check frequently the new promotions that will be launched throughout this 48-hour event.
During a visit to the logistics center that the company has in Illescas, the director of Consumer Business, Ruth Díaz, said that in the fifth edition of this campaign, which is celebrated around the world, about 40% of the offer will be for sale will come from SMEs.
Currently, more than 100 million customers around the world have an Amazon Prime account, which means different advantages such as free day shipments. In Spain it means paying an annual fee of 36 euros in exchange for free shipping on more than two million products, but also unlimited access to movies and television series via Prime Video, millions of songs without ads with Prime Music, and the Priority access to flash offers and Twitch Prime.
