The number of households that have all their active members unemployed fell in the second quarter of 2019 by 96,600, to 992,800, according to data from the Active Population Survey (EPA) published Thursday by the National Statistics Institute (INE) .
On the other hand, the number of households in which all active members are employed increased by 119,400 in the quarterly comparison to 10.6 million.
In annual comparison, the number of households in which all assets are unemployed has been reduced by 120,400, while those with all their assets occupied have increased by 234,500.
In the second quarter of 2019, the number of households increased by 24,700 to 18.6 million, of which 4.8 million are single-person.
