The Ministry of Health has registered 58,839 new cases of coronavirus. This is a slightly higher figure than Tuesday, when the last report was issued, in which 52,112 were reported. In total, since the start of the pandemic, 12,238,073 people have been infected with COVID-19 confirmed by tests.

Regarding the incidence of people over 60 years of age, the group in which Health has the focus, stands at 848.62 points per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, compared to 846.55 points on Tuesday .
Regarding the deceased, the Ministry led by Darias has added 305 more, which places the number of deaths since the start of the pandemic at 105,947. Of these, 301 have occurred in the last seven days.
In hospitals, today Friday there are 7,364 people admitted, which translates into an occupation of 5.94%. Compared to the previous report, income has decreased by almost 200 people. In the ICUs, there are 364 COVID-19 patients, a number practically the same as on Tuesday of last week.
Regarding the vaccination campaign, 52.7% of the population already has the booster dose in Spain. Meanwhile, 80% of those over 40 years of age already have this booster vaccine. Regarding children, immunization continues to be stagnant with 54.5% of this age group receiving at least one vaccine.
