Passengers arriving in Spain by air will no longer be required to complete the health control form before departure and extraordinary measures against covid-19 are reduced at all points of entry, both air and sea.
The suspension will come into force from 00:00 on this Tuesday, September 20, according to a resolution of the General Directorate of Public Health collected today by the Official State Gazette (BOE).
The resolution published this Monday modifies another from last April 1 on the health controls to be carried out at the entry points of Spain, given the evolution of the pandemic at a global level and the epidemiological situation in Spain.
Thus, and in order to promote the normalization of international mobility with the least possible impact on public health, the General Directorate of Public Health considers it appropriate to update some of the aspects contemplated in the resolution of April 1, 2022.
In this way, it is no longer considered necessary to maintain the use of the Spain Travel Health (SpTH) application for passengers to validate the health control form with their epidemiological information.
Likewise, once normality has been restored in international cruises, it is considered appropriate to suppress the extraordinary measures implemented at the time for its restoration.
