The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has denied the hoax that ensures, among other falsehoods, that the Archipelago will be closed until next January 10 and that it will not be possible to enter or leave the Autonomous Community.
In its Twitter account, Health has clarified that what the BOC has published today is the decree that will come into force tomorrow and that “regulates the health control of international travelers by means of antigen tests”, which “does not prevent the arrival or departure of the Canary Islands, but regulates a safe entry of travelers.”
Likewise, Health specifies that “the norm details justified trips that are not subject to restriction” and adds that “among them the return to the usual or family home or work trip is contemplated.”
The aforementioned hoax also indicates that you can enter the Canary Islands “as long as you choose between one of these two options: Isolation in your family residence for 14 days and submit to” a diagnostic test for active infection “in the first 72 hours of your arrival in the Canary Islands and stay in isolation until they give you a negative diagnosis. ”
