Health asks not to consume this dark chocolate due to the presence of non-detailed allergens

The Spanish Food Safety Agency warns of the presence of dairy proteins not declared on the label

The Spanish Food Health Agency (Aesan) has issued this Wednesday an alert regarding the batches of a dark chocolate with mint traces of the German brand Weinrichs 1985, which presents its products in 100 gram containers.

This notice is because Health has detected milk proteins in chocolate that are not detailed in product labeling. The ministry itself has communicated through the Aesan website that it was aware of this anomaly through the Coordinated Rapid Information Exchange System (SCIRI) in which the health authorities of the Basque Country had detected the presence of these allergens not declared.
