Haría adopts measures to protect the neighbor and San Bartolomé asks for care

The municipalities of Lanzarote have reacted to the tightening of measures to curb the contagion of the coronavirus on the island by adopting special measures, as is the case of Haría, or by calling for the responsibility of the neighbors, such as San Bartolomé.

The Haría City Council has restricted the use of municipal facilities since yesterday and has enabled a service for care and distribution of food and medicine among the most vulnerable population and groups at risk from the pandemic. These measures, which involve expanding the services provided to residents, are aimed at protecting them, avoiding transfers and departures.

For his part, the mayor of San Bartolomé, Alexis Tejera, has called for the responsibility of the neighbors to comply with the restrictions imposed with the passage of Lanzarote to level 4 alert to the pandemic.
