The followers of Iker Casillas, and football in general, are in luck. Movistar + announced this Friday that ‘Hang the wings’, the documentary series on the career of the legendary Real Madrid exporter, will be released next November 27.
Directed by Luis Fermoso (Robinson Report), the docuserie will delve into the goalkeeper’s sporting career, from his beginnings in the white club until his retirement, this same summer, in Porto. In fact, ‘Hang the wings’ will show exclusive images from the last year life of the goalkeeper, marked by the heart attack that he suffered on May 1, 2019 during training with the Portuguese club, which precipitated his retirement.
In addition, this multi-part documentary will feature unpublished testimonials from Casillas himself and also from some of the people who most marked his career, such as Vicente del Bosque, Fernando Hierro or John benjamin thosack.
