English Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) mathematically scored his seventh Formula One World Championship this Sunday by winning the Turkish Grand Prix, the fourteenth of the contest, in Istanbul Park, where he equaled the historical record of seven titles of the German Michael Schumacher.

Hamilton scored his 10th win of the year, raising his own F1 win record to 94, by winning ahead of Mexican Sergio Pérez (Racing Point), who finished second in a race in which German Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) was third.

The English star scored mathematically this Sunday the sixth of the past seven World Cups with Mercedes, which joined the one he had achieved in 2008, with McLaren.
