Habitat Real Estate entered 89 million euros in 2018, which is six times more than the previous year and invested 121 million euros in the acquisition of new land in which to build homes.
During the past year, the company it obtained a gross operating result (ebitda) of 1.8 million euros, compared to the negative figure of 9.8 million recorded the previous year.
Habitat Real Estate, with the help of Bain Capital Credit and with the start-up of the new strategic and business plan (2018-2021), it has its own resources of around 500 million euros for the acquisition of land.
In 2018, the real estate company undertook 27 land acquisition operations with an investment of more than 121 million that covered 170,000 m2 and a buildable area of 300,000 m2.
With these operations, the company has achieved a bank of land exceeding one million square meters, which will allow it to develop 10,000 new homes in the next years.
Currently, the real estate company is building 3,400 homes in 39 developments in different phases of development in Andalusia, Levante, Catalonia, Madrid, Cantabria, Asturias, Galicia and the Canary Islands.
With respect to the forecasts for the current financial year, 2019 will represent figures similar to those of last year and will strengthen the company's position in its goal of achieving the delivery of 2,000 homes per year from 2021.
