The Swedish teenager, received by a hundred people
The Swedish activist Greta Thunberg has arrived this morning at the port of Lisbon, from where she will move to Madrid to participate in the Climate Summit.
More than a hundred people, mostly journalists and young activists, wait for the Swedish teenager.
The catamaran will moor on the Lisbon dock of Santo Amaro, has been received by the mayor, Fernando Medina, and dozens of supporters of his cause who have wanted to welcome him to Europe.
"Today low cost (cheap) tomorrow high cost (expensive)" reads one of the banners carried by young Portuguese activists.
"Towards Lisbon," he wrote in his latest post on Twitter, about 9.00 GMT, next to a photo in which the young woman is seen smiling on the deck of the ship.
"Day 20. Our last day at the ocean! Now we can almost smell the earth!" He wrote last night on the social network.
According to the planned program, Greta will talk with the activists who wait for her and with the media at the dock.
Nothing is known yet about the activities scheduled for the rest of the day in Lisbon, although everything indicates that tonight will take the Lusitania to travel by train to Madrid, where it will participate in the Climate Summit.
