Granca Live Fest and Eslôgica create an alliance with the aim of reducing the environmental impact of the event

Granca Live Fest and eslôgica have reached an agreement to work together and reduce the environmental impact of the most important Latin event on the continent in 2022. On July 8 and 9, Latin music lovers have an appointment in Gran Canaria to enjoy the largest massive event of the islands in the last decade.

The magnitude of this musical event, with 22 hours of live music by national and international artists, requires good advice on the environmental impact that its celebration can cause. For this reason, the GranCa Live Fest has decided to have one of the most experienced specialized companies in the Archipelago.

On this occasion, the main objective will be to minimize the ecological footprint of the festival on the days of its celebration. In this way, Granca Live Fest will have specialized advice to cause the least possible impact and follow the path of sustainability in its celebration, which is estimated to attract thousands of people.

Eslôgica's advice will provide sustainable environmental solutions to one of the most important musical events of the year in Gran Canaria. Specifically, the specialized company will manage the environmental management plan that includes waste management, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, noise and light pollution, use of recycled materials in all areas of the event, water management, ecomarket, product promotion venues, collaboration with NGOs or innovation, diversity, transparency and equality in the generic context of the festival.

Eslôgica's experience

Eslôgica has a long history in the field of holding sustainable events. Proof of this is the achievement of the A Greener Festival Award seal for the International Wind Renewable Energy Festival, an event for Pop, Rock, Indie and Electronic music held in the south of Tenerife, in 2009.

This festival is the only event in Spain that has achieved this distinction granted by A Greener Festival (AGF), a London non-profit association that rewards events that are committed to sustainability. Through assessment, festival visit and post-event analysis AGF provides comprehensive and useful analysis, information and credentials for event sustainability actions.

In addition, it should be added that Eslôgica's actions are based on compliance with the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the UN.

The event is sponsored by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Government of the Canary Islands, the Canary Islands advance with Europe within the European Regional Development Fund, the European Union, Tourism of the Canary Islands, Las Palmas Sports Union, Archipelago Renting and I Love the World.
