Querejeta had made black comedy in his short Cornelias, true. "But I never would have dared with characters so extreme, that we have reinvented in the shooting," he concedes. "The attractive thing is to take the bull by the horns and see what happens, I felt comfortable because Luis Marías [el guionista] It has given me total freedom. Now, we have to try harder with the story, since not only do I have to please myself, but also the scriptwriter. At least I have it in mind because I'm also a scriptwriter. And what would Querejeta do without Maribel Verdú? "Well, no one is essential, neither she for me, nor I for her, but we had a lot of fun working together."
