Glyphosate sinks Bayer to € 10.5 billion in losses



The judicial agreement for settle the dispute over the herbicide glyphosate in the United States, signed last June, leads Bayer to close a disastrous year, with 10,500 million euros of losses, 16,100 million of negative operating result. The turnover would grow by 3% to reach between 42,000 and 43,000 million euros. Bayer shares on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange have fallen by about 3% as soon as these results have been announced, but the worst for the price seems to have passed.
