Gatwick airport resumed its activity by another drone

The London Gatwick airport has resumed its activity by sighting another "suspicious drone", reported an official spokesman this afternoon.

The airfield, the second largest in the United Kingdom behind Heathrow, closed its runway and take-off reopened at 06.30 GMT today.

Gatwick remained closed from Wednesday night until this morning when drones were observed on the runway, affecting more than 100,000 passengers.
