The secretary general of the PP, Teodoro García Egea, on Tuesday transferred all the support of his party to the workers of Sniace and all the people of Torrelavega and its region after the announcement of the chemical group to liquidate the factory that has in that Cantabrian municipality and its subsidiaries.
"It is important that we support the people who need our support. That all those who feel abandoned by the PSOE Government know that in the PP, in their mayors, in their deputies they have all the support they always need," said Garcia Egea at the beginning of his speech at the New City forum that this Tuesday starred in Madrid the mayor of Santander, Gema Igual.
The popular leader has opined that "every day that passes there is a more empty Spain and a more full Spain" because, in his opinion, a Spain is what "the Socialist Party of (Pedro) Sánchez empties of employment and opportunities" while that the "fullest" is what "the PP tries to fill with innovation, with a future and looking to 2030" with its mayors.
The number 2 of the PP has concluded that beginning of its intervention ensuring that "the municipalities are the strength of the PP".
