The Xunta will launch a psychological assistance service to victims of sexist violence for 24 hours, 365 days a year. The Galician Government has approved on Thursday an agreement with the Official Colexio of Psicoloxía de Galicia by which, as explained by President Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will be addressed "immediately" and "in the place indicated" by the security forces. to battered women like his younger children.

The rest of the 61 measures of this action plan (37 of them new and 24 reinforcement of those already existing) are related to awareness, prevention, social psychological support, assistance from the moment of the denunciation, strengthening of the reception network and aid to the rent and to the labor insertion of the victims. The plan also provides for new subsidies to municipalities, women's associations, federations of mothers and fathers of students and sports clubs to develop specific campaigns in sports venues.
The Galician Government has also announced new programs for the prevention of gender violence in municipal and public libraries, a specific line of prevention and awareness among youth volunteering and agreements with the equality offices of the three Galician universities and with sports federations for spread campaigns in the equipment of the referees.
