There are as many possibilities and combinations as the number of companies that offer these services. The problem: do I have to download an application for each one?

There are already some applications that group public transport services such as metro, bus and commuter trains. They allow you to consult the maps, waiting times and the best routes. All in one. However, with private transportation, things change, as each company has its own app, which implies that the user has to "download all the applications, put his name, his credit card ..." Boyd Cohen: Co-founder of IoMob We expressed in this way how they detected the need to concentrate all the mobility providers in a single application.

"In the near future, we will offer the integrated IoMob service where any major city will be interconnected with the same application and all local and regional services will be accessible. And later, it can also be used in other countries outside of Spain. "

Is startup, one of the four chosen by TrenLab In its first edition, it has been incorporated into the Renfe acceleration program following a call that has had more than 240 registered companies. The other companies chosen were Limmat Group, Zeleros and Nixi1.

Trenlab, the Renfe accelerator developed by Wayra, has awarded them with € 50,000, a customized six-month acceleration plan, and the opportunity to work together with two consolidated companies such as Renfe and Telefónica.

All the projects presented had to respond to one of the three proposed challenges:

  • Digital mobility, in order to reinvent the travel experience.
  • The digitalization of operations, so as to adapt the company's logistics offer to the demand for freight transport.
  • And the logistics on demand. This means making the most of the possibilities of digital technologies and real-time management of operations.

loMob, responded in this case, to the digital mobility challenge of Renfe. The objective they propose is that thanks to technology blockchain, public transport systems and any private mobility provider, collaborate and unify the offer, to offer a "door to door" service.
