The Fox and National Geographic chains are investigating the scientist and publicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson after hearing about recent accusations that point to him for alleged episodes of sexual harassment, informed today the specialized media The Hollywood Reporter.
"We take these issues very seriously and we are reviewing these recent reports," Fox and National Geographic said about the presenter of the "Cosmos" program.
The most responsible of this television space showed a similar position.
"The creed at the heart of 'Cosmos' is to follow the tests they take in. The producers of 'Cosmos' can not do less in this situation, we are committed to a thorough investigation on this issue and will act accordingly as soon as it is concluded" , they expressed.
The web portal on religious information Patheos on Thursday published an article in which two women accused the astrophysicist, 60, of abusive behavior and misplaced.
Katelyn N. Allers, Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Bucknell University, and Ashley Watson, who was Tyson's assistant, pointed to this, among other issues, for sticking their hands or making explicit sexual innuendos.
These two accusations are joined by an older one from Tchiya Amet, which in 2014 claimed that Tyson raped her when they were both university students.
