Four wounded, one serious, falling from a float in the Pride parade 2019



Four people have been injured tonight, one of them serious and the other three minor, falling from one of the floats that participated in the Pride 2019 demonstration during its journey through the intersection of Montalbán Street and Paseo del Prado in Madrid .

According to a spokesman for Emergencias Madrid, Efe reported that the accident occurred around 12.55 hours, when the fence that surrounded the coach has expired and the victims have rushed to the ground.

As a result of the fall, one of the injured men, a 36-year-old man, had fractures of the pelvis and left foot, and a wound on his chin that required a suture. He was taken to the Hospital Clínico where he was admitted with a serious prognosis.

Another of the injured is a 37-year-old woman with moderate head trauma and was taken to the Hospital Gregorio Marañón admitted with a mild prognosis for observation.

The third victim is another 36-year-old woman who also presented with a mild head injury and was taken to the Gregorio Marañón Hospital where she was admitted with a mild prognosis.

The last injured man is a 39-year-old man who has suffered a fracture in the forearm and was admitted to the Hospital de la Concepción with a slight prognosis.
