Four deaths and 216 new cases of coronavirus in the Canary Islands

In the last hours the death of four people: a 72-year-old man in Gran Canaria, two women of 83 and 94 years of age in Tenerife and a 56-year-old man in Lanzarote. All remained in hospital admission and except for the deceased in Gran Canaria for whom there is no history, all suffered from previous pathologies.

By islands, Tenerife Today it adds 82 cases with a total of 47,403 accumulated cases and 885 epidemiologically active cases.

Gran canaria It has 37,905 accumulated cases, 86 more than the previous day and 660 active.

Lanzarote adds 18 new cases with 7,283 accumulated and 106 active, while Fuerteventura it has 4,782 accumulated cases with 28 cases more than the previous day and 182 active ones.

La Palma registers a new positive and has 1,167 accumulated and 21 active cases.

El Hierro scores a new case, standing at 469 accumulated and two assets.

For its part, La Gomera it remains at 438 accumulated and 19 active.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 56.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 94.95 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

To date, a total of 2,318,279 PCR tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 5,989 correspond to yesterday.
