The services that track the torrent of Ses Planes in search of the 5-year-old boy disappeared after being dragged by the overflowing waters with his mother, who was found dead, have found objects that could be of the child in the area of Son Carrió.
As confirmed by the Civil Guard, the troops that worked in that area, the next population center in the course of the torrent after Sant Llorenç, have found this afternoon the objects that could belong to the disappeared child.
The boy was traveling on Tuesday afternoon with his mother and his older sister when they were surprised by the overflow of the torrent. The woman was able to take a 7-year-old daughter out of the car, but she did not have time to do the same with the child, and the vehicle was swept away by the current.
The mother was found lifeless in tourism, but the child has not been located.
The same sources have indicated that early in the morning of Friday the search tasks in Son Carrió will resume.
The death toll so far amounts to 12 people, six Spaniards and six foreigners, seven men and five women.
