Former Argentine footballer Diego Armando Maradona died this Wednesday from a cardiorespiratory arrest when he was recovering from a brain operation at his home in the town of Tigre, as Clarín has advanced and has been able to confirm

Maradona, winner of the 86 World Cup with the Argentine national team, was admitted to an emergency three weeks ago at a clinic in the city of La Plata, due to a problem related to the gastric bypass that he underwent in 2005, and has died this Wednesday.
