Andrei Arshavin has already gone into controversy only a month after he retired. Former Arsenal or Zenit of St. Petersburg, among others, was caught drunk at the exit of a strip club last weekend. Not only with that, the former footballer borrowed a horse that later would not pay.
Everything happened on the night of Sunday, December 16. Arshavin was leaving a streptease club. Some of the witnesses of the event said that he was drunk, that you could not have standing. Then he said goodbye to two women, in a way that is too affectionate, with hugs and kisses. Later, he decided to get on a horse and ride down the street guided by the owner of the animal.
When he finished his walk, Arshavin refused to pay the price of the ride (which would be about 35 euros), so the owner of the horse denounced him. There did not end the night, since a police patrol was also present. It was Arshavin himself who spoke with the police to calm them down.
Arshavin was one of the stars of the Russian team. His great performance in both his first stage at Zenit and Euro 2008 took him to be in the sights of Real Madrid or Barcelona, but finally would go to Arsenal. I would not finish dazzling in the London club. After his return to Zenit, he finished his career at Kazakhstan's Kairat Almaty in November of this year, before going through the Russian Krasnodar.
