The Asociation Multinationals by brand Spain, formed by foreign companies with activity in Spain, has expressed this Friday its rejection of the intention of the Government to force companies to control the daily record of workers' day. In his opinion, this obligation is not compatible with the development of new work models, based on labor flexibility, conciliation and teleworking, nor with the current demands and needs of employees.
"We must move towards a model that combines job stability with internal and external mobility of workers and allows creating quality jobs that generate greater productivity." Labor flexibility is key to promoting competitiveness for both companies and sectors of activity ", has indicated the president of this association, José María Palomares.
On the other hand, Multinationals by brand Spain has reported that In the coming days, it will transfer its position to the Government and parliamentary groups in relation to the labor practices in the companies adhered to the association.
The intention of the Executive is modify the regulation on the time register for force companies to control the day employment of its employees. A measure that could see the green light in the coming weeks, after an agreement between the social partners is closed.
Several media have pointed out that Labor could also choose to modify the Law of Infractions and Sanctions in the Social Order to typify this type of transgressions with regard to the registration of working hours. In such a way, that for each affected worker, the company has to face "millionaire sanctions".
