"For each approved standard we would repeal two"

The president of the Popular Party, Pablo Casado, closed the General Assembly of the Madrid Business Confederation-CEOE (CEIM) on Tuesday, making a closed defense of a "free economy" and a "greater deregulation", in line with the Neoliberal policies of privatizations and tax cuts that the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has started, whose management the PP leader considers an example of what he would do at the national level if he manages to reach the Government.

"For each approved regulation we would repeal two," Casado assured during a speech in which he has broken down the entire economic program of the PP, with which he intends to approach the businessmen at a time when the employer has reached different agreements with the Progressive executive.

"The social work of employers has been made clear in the pandemic," said Casado, who addressed those present saying the following: "You create employment, and without employment there can be no social benefits."

Casado, who has proposed that ICO loans have a one-year default, has taken advantage of the act to harshly charge the Government for its "great incompetence, great lack of foresight and great negligence" in managing the pandemic and has assured that "three times more people died in the second wave than in the 9/11 attacks."

On the budget negotiation, the PP leader has shown his "full collaboration with the Government to save jobs" or "save companies." "But we cannot be complicit in a wrong plan, raising taxes, repealing the labor reform, touching the salaries of civil servants or pensions," he added.
