One of his former teams, the Hastings MSOC of the United States, lamented the loss of the player in social networks: “The bronco family is sad to hear the sudden death of Eric Birighitti. Eric played for Hastings during the 2016 and 2017 season and won a national title with the team. We will really miss him and our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. ”

After playing on this team, in 2017 he signed for St. Thomas Aquinas College, a private university in New York, where he was currently playing.
