The neurologist Fernando Cabrera Naranjo was elected as the new coordinator of the Neuro-ophthalmology study group of the Spanish Society of Neurology (SEN), position that will develop during the next two years.

The study groups of the SEN present the objective of bringing together the members of the scientific society, depending on their degree of specialty in different neurological pathologies or in the interest shown by subjects related to other aspects of the specialty, and they are responsible to promote and develop research and continuing Education of each area.
The new meetings of the study groups of the SEN were chosen after a electoral period which ended at the end of November 2018, although the appointments became effective during January 2019, once the period of allegations has ended.
