Feria Valencia hosts a solidarity meeting of professional hairdressers

Around 2,000 people, including models and haircutters, participated this Sunday at Feria Valencia in a concentration of hairdressing professionals for solidarity purposes, during which it has tried unsuccessfully to break a Guinness record.

As reported by the organization of the Beauty Valencia contest, the objective of this meeting was to beat the registry of people cutting their hair at the same time, for which it was necessary to reach about 1,300 people for 20 minutes, but finally it has not been possible.

“Although it has not been possible to beat, we are very satisfied with this call, because it has made visible the problem such as that of brain damage acquired thanks to the presence of hairdressers throughout Spain,” says Lola Torrente, president of ADACAM, entity that will benefit from the donations collected.

Mario Soler, director of Beauty Valencia, believes that the hairdressing and aesthetics sector “has massively shown his most supportive face. For Beauty it is an honor to have collaborated with our grain of sand to summon so many people to make visible the struggle of families with people with acquired brain damage. ”

This concentration of hairdressing professionals, the largest ever registered in the Valencian Community, has been possible thanks to the collaboration of professional associations and educational centers such as the Salvador Gadea Institute of Aldaia, which has been the center that more volunteers have called to treat to beat the Guinness record.
