Femarguín scratches in Valencia his first point as a visitor

Femarguín Spar Gran Canaria achieved their first point away from home in group B of the Iberdrola Challenge by drawing against the Valencia subsidiary. Migdalia Rodríguez’s team was the dominator of a match in which they enjoyed good opportunities to win.

The meeting started with a more dominating Femarguín, who tried to impose his style of play on the Valencian venue. Migdalia Rodríguez’s team controlled the match against a subsidiary that was well planted on its plot, and that tried to grant spaces to the Gran Canaria.

After half an hour, the Mogán squad enjoyed a clear opportunity to open the contest with a personal move by Paula, who approached the domain of Pallás to launch a cross shot, which did not find the three sticks of the Valencian goal. Before the break, the shock entered the body of the Gran Canaria footballers with a goal from Valencia, but canceled for offside.

After the resumption, Femarguín increased their dominance with the entrance to the scene of Cori and Carol. Migdalia Rodríguez’s team controlled the clash, looking for the bands to try to put local goalkeeper Pallás at risk.

The clearest play of the Gran Canaria to take the three points from Valencian lands came with a cross from Astrid, on the right wing, which Eli finished off across from the penalty spot, but the ball went astray. The yellows tried to get the victory goal, although without luck to break the defensive gear.
