The match to be played next Sunday by CD Femarguín Spar Gran Canaria and Alhama CF, from Murcia, in the South group of the Iberdrola Challenge League (Women’s Second Division), has been postponed when a positive case of covid-19 was detected in the local team. The Competition Judge of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has confirmed this Friday the postponement of the clash, and according to reports the Femarguín Through its official channels, the positive was detected on Thursday in the weekly tests.
The match, which was to be played at 10.30 am on Sunday at the Municipal Stadium of Arguineguín (south of Gran Canaria), corresponded to the seventeenth league match, the penultimate of this first phase of the championship.
In this same group, the other Canarian representative, the Real Unión de Tenerife Tacuense, will receive this Saturday UD Aldaia CF, from Valencia, starting at 5:00 p.m. in the La Salud field, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. As reported by the local club, the match may have the presence of the public in the stands (tickets at the price of five euros), although only fifty percent of the capacity of the installation will be allowed.
