Federica Brignone wins Rosa Khutor Super-G

The Italian team has continued with its incredible demonstration and has occupied the first two places on the podium with Federica Brignone and Sofía Goggia. Joana Haehlen from Switzerland was third, at 0.34 seconds.
Federica Brignone thus achieves his fourth victory in the World Cup of the season in Rosa Khutor. With fourteen victories, Federica Brignone is slowly approaching the most winning Italian skiers in history: Isolde Kostner with 15 and Deborah Compagnoni with 16 victories in the World Cup.
Federica Brignone became the fourth different winner of a women's Super-G this season, after Viktoria Rebensburg, Sofia Goggia and Mikaela Shiffrin won the previous tests. This victory placed her on top of the Super-G with 16 points ahead of Corinne Suter (SUI) and 20 over Mikaela Shiffrin (USA).
For Sofia Goggia it is the second podium of the season after her Super-G victory at St. Moritz in December. Goggia has returned after missing the last two races due to a right leg injury after a downhill accident in Bansko.
Joana Haehlen got the second result in the top three of her career after her podium in Bansko's descent.
