Family Guy (Family guy) will stop making homophobic jokes, according to their producers Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin to the specialized media TV Line. With almost 20 years of existence, after 17 seasons and 320 chapters, the animated series created by Seth McFarlane that tells the future of the Griffin family will be a little less politically incorrect. The producers have confirmed it, but the announcement was made in the last chapter of the series, broadcast last weekend, in which the character of Peter Griffith told Donald Trump that Family Guy "will try to take away" these jokes.
"If you see a series from 2005 or 2006 and you put it next to a 2018 or 2019 series, there are going to be a few differences." Some of the things we felt comfortable saying and joking then, now we understand that they are not acceptable, "said Sulkin.
"Culture changes, and it's not that we're reacting and saying, 'They're not going to let us [decir ciertas cosas]' No, we have changed too. The climate is different, the culture is different and our points of view are different, they have been shaped by the reality that surrounds us, so I think the series has to change and evolve in many ways, "added Appel.
