Theovernight stays in non-hotel tourist accommodation(apartments, campsites, rural tourism lodgings and hostels)exceeded 5.8 million last November,1.4% less than in the same month of 2018, according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INE) published on Thursday.
In the first eleven months of last yearextra-night overnight stays fell 0.4%Compared to the same period of the previous year.
In November 2019, non-hotel overnight stays of residents rose 1.6%, while those of foreigners fell 2.6% compared to the same month of 2008.
Theaverage stayIt stood at the last to last month of last year at 4.7 overnight stays per traveler.
Of the total overnight stays,those of residents exceeded 1.7 million in November,with 683,918 travelers, while those from theEuropean Union(excluding Spain) reached 3.5 million, with 449,539 travelers. From the rest of the world, 608,842 overnight stays were registered, with 114,189 travelers.
