Everything ready for the filming of 'Rambo V' in Tenerife

The president of the Cabildo, Carlos Alonso, explains that "Tenerife is once again positioned as international reference for the shooting of films thanks to natural conditions, in addition to the fiscal incentives for the producers and the local assistance companies with which we have ".

On the other hand, the insular councilor of Tourism, Alberto Bernabé, remembers that the work of Tourism of Tenerife, through the Tenerife Film Commission, is key in that the big producers choose the Island for its recording, something that has become evident both in this film and two others that will also be developed soon, such as 'Wonder Woman 1984' and 'War Pigs', the latter from the same producer as 'Rambo V'.

The producer responsible for the filming of 'Rambo V', which will feature Sylvester Stallone as protagonist, has settled on the island of Tenerife for the development of this production and also 'War Pigs', which will begin recording at the beginning of the year comes and will count in his cast with Mel Gibson and Colin Farrel.

The contracting of some 450 people is expected, between extras and other positions. So far, a dozen calls have been published, among which is the one directed to the selection of extras for 'Rambo V'.

Specifically, women and men with "Mexican appearance" are looked for, between 18 and 65 years old. It will be assessed that the color of the skin is dark and that they have tattoos. In the case of men, it will also be taken into account that they have knobs, sideburns and beards.

Those interested should state their willingness to work for 12 hours a day. The producer needs around 300 people. The call will be open until October 21.
