The final battle arrives, the fight of the dead against the living. Who will end up sitting on the Iron Throne? Who will survive? Before that time comes, we collect everything you need to know about this expected return.
– Where we stay
Although in a few days we will review in more detail where we left each character, the story had gathered many of them in Pozo Dragon, where Jon and Daenerys met Cersei to ask for a truce to the queen and her support in the fight against Army of the White Walkers. Although Cersei, Tyrion by means of, promises them that help, his intention is another one. That deception leads Jaime to turn his back on his sister, who is also pregnant. On the other hand, we let Jon and Daenerys seal their alliance in bed while Sam and Bran discover that Jon is the true heir of the Iron Throne for his true ancestry (which also makes him Daenerys' nephew). Meanwhile, in Winterfell, the reunited Stark brothers took revenge on Meñique killing him.
– Only six chapters …
Even though Game of Thrones He used to have 10 episodes per season, his last two installments have been smaller and, while the penultimate had seven, the final delivery will only have six. However, they will be episodes with a budget higher than the previous one (supposedly about 15 million dollars per chapter) and whose shooting has taken 10 months. In charge of them as directors will be old acquaintances: from episodes 1, 2 and 4 David Nutter is in charge (The rains of Catasmere, Dance of dragons, Mercy …); of 3 and 5 is responsible Miguel Sapochnik (The Battle of the Bastards, Winter Winds...), while David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, showrunners of the series, the last chapter has been reserved. As for the scripts, Dave Hill and Bryan Cogman sign, respectively, the first two episodes, while Benioff and Weiss have written the remaining four.

– Few clues of the argument
As usual, secrecy is extreme around what will happen next season. In interviews that have given their actors have not advanced just details. However, the alleged argument of the first chapter of the eighth season, which can be read, has leaked out in Reddit (in English, and with many possible spoilers). Here we prefer not to reproduce it: we do not know the source and we can not be sure of its veracity.
– Trailers and advances to make theories
Several advances have served so that the speculations on which it will come are fired. From the encounter between Daenerys and Sansa to a teaser with images that did not belong to the series in which Jon, Sansa and Arya were seen together. Everything has served to feed the imagination. But what has been the most game has been the two minute trailer with images of the next chapters. In him already the great battle is intuited. A weeping gesture by Cersei also served to speculate on the feelings of the queen. The appearance of Jon and Daenerys with the two remaining dragons also made it seem that we will soon see Jon riding one of them. It has even been speculated on the role played by Gendry, bastard son of Robert Baratheon who also appears in the video. Here you can see the main advances launched so far:
– New characters
(Careful, possible spoilers). At this point, there will be few additions to the series, but we will find some new face. One of the signings is that of Marc Rissmann, who will play Harry Strickland, the leader of the Gold Company, a group of more than 10,000 mercenaries working in Essos. Danielle Galligan is also incorporated, an actress who will play Sarra, who could be the granddaughter of Walder Frey that appears in the books.
