The main European squares began the session on Wednesday with small gains despite the negative closing of Wall Street on the eve, according to market data.
At 9.15 am, London rose 0.31%; Paris 0.2%; Frankfurt 0.19%; Milan 0.17%; Madrid 0.1% and the Euro Stoxx 50 index 0.08%.
The Dow Jones Industrials index fell 0.13% on Tuesday, while the S&P 500 fell 0.52% and the Nasdaq 1.4%. Tokyo did not open for a holiday.
The barrel of Brent oil, the benchmark in Europe, rose just over 3% and changed slightly above $ 21.
The price of the euro rose to $ 1,086 and the yield on German long-term debt stood at -0.472%.
